time out for a sob story..

i told you folks last week that i spilled water all over my laptop. i ruined it. totally killed it. or so i thought, because that's what a certain company that bore that sucker told me. now, i'm not going to do any public flogging here and name that company that has a fruit that looks like an apple for a brand, no, there will be no mention of that company. but let's just say they were really less than helpful. however, never one to let sleeping dogs lie...just for the heck of it, i turned on my laptop last night. you know just for kicks. well, lo and behold it turned on! ok, so the keypad doesn't work, but hell, all of my music, images, photos, notes, and documents for the past 2 1/2 yrs have NOT disappeared into the ethernet! so, why am i relaying this sob story to you? well besides the fact that i'll talk to anybody who will listen about it, i want to keep you all in the loop and let you know i'll still be posting but perhaps not w/ the voracity i have in the previous weeks. so please sit tight, hang in there w/ me and once i have sold everything but my dog i will be back on schedule. god speed. and thank you, thank you to all the sweet emails and kind comments and for my friends who have lent me their desktop in the meantime. everybody's awesome support kept me a float this past week for sure!
